| I was praying with one of my farmer friends (that just sounds cool) and in his prayer he said "that sometimes the reason for his farm machines break down is because God knows he needs rest." I really chewed on that statement. With three weeks to go with school I totally lost my motivation last week. My motivation, drive, and persistence are my machines that help be successful. I think last week was a week to rest and I feel motivated this week. I know this post will probably not get many comments (I feel vindicated off comments). Just remember if something is not going right for you maybe God wants you to have some rest. | | |
| I can tell that the last blog did nothing for anyone but it felt good for me. Well I am sitting here at my new desk and I am typing on my mac and reading blogs on Ashley's Dell, listening to my I-Pod, and about to sync my phone to my mac. Technology is an interesting beast. I just got done reading Chris Seay where he says technology is good when it keeps people connected in a relationship. Interesting viewpoint.
My next door neighbor has pit bull and I think those dogs are dogs of the devil. The fence on their side is sort of coming apart. How do I go about saying hey fix your fence so that your dog will not come into my yard and slaughter my dog? Any suggestions?
I will post pictures of the two inch snow from last weekend later and I will also let you know what I am most worried about when I receive my masters. (major market tease). peace.

| Gather around class I am going to talk about economics today! The following words are words I would like to say to my employer, but can not because I want to keep a job. I want to teach economics today and I really want to work on supply and demand. The basics is if you have a lot of supply the demand will probably be low because you have enough supply to answer the demand. When you have a large demand usually you have a low supply because the demand overpowers the small amount of supply. Companies would like a balance between the two because usually this means the company is having a nice stream of income. Therefore, when my company has a product that is very successful we raise the price WHEN WE DO NOT NEED TO. Just because a product is successful does not mean that we should out price our MARKET. Crap, look at Apple the I-Pod blew up yet price is still about the same amount as when it started. Yet, where I work we have product that exploded in demand but we still had half a month of supply. Yet, we act as if we have no supply therefore, we must raise the price because it is selling like hotcakes. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO ANYBODY BUT ME. My company should recognize we have a supply problem when we have WAITING LIST. We have NO waiting list and still half of our supply left. SO STUPID. AHHHHHHHH. Yet I am suppose to act as if nothing happened and go sell it like the price never doubled in price. DUMB. Thanks for listening and now I will take questions.

| For the majority of you March 17th is St. Patrick Day, yet for me it is a totally different celebration. March 17, 2007 marks two years since my last open heart surgery. I woke up a lot last night remembering the evening before the surgery. I woke up at 5:30 and that was the same time we had to start for the hospital. Leading up to that time I really did not look for the future, because I was so worried about the present. I am truly amazed by the grace, love and mercy that the Lord Jesus Christ had on a newly married couple. I look back and remember all the prayers and love people showered us with. I remember my family traveling from all over Texas to come and see me. My grandparents pulled the travel trailer down so that Ashley and I would have somewhere to stay after a week in the hospital. Josh and Zac came down and I was having a bad day and they could not come visit so they stayed in their hotel room and rented movies from Blockbuster from across the street. Most of all I remember how courageous my wife was and how she slept ever night for a week in the waiting room because she did not want to leave the hospital. This day is a day I will never forget and always point back at to show the work of the Lord. Well I need to go make some breakfast and put on my St. Patrick shirt. peace. | | |
| In my e-commerce class I had to read this article and I found it very interesting. I do not hack computers and really do not see my self in a prison, but I thought it was intriguing. The article is Everything a hacker needs to know about getting busted by the Feds.. This was written by a hacker inside the walls of a prison. I might think this is interesting because I am up late and my mind is tired. I hope all is well in xanga land. Sting Em' Jackets, Amen.
side note: do not navigate past this link are you might find Adult film reviews, which I do not endorse. I promise this was a reading assignment from my professor at Dallas Baptist University. | | |
